No radar. Acquirable weapons, ammos, and rations are limited. Harder than regular game. After Stage Clear, when you re-play a stage, weapons are in possession initially. Recommend saving rations and ammo as much as possible, and never mess with enemy soldiers that make regularly timed radio contacts. |

Strut A Pump Room Ration and Box3 in the bottom room. 3 soldiers, no radio contact. Just get the ration and leave, it's not necessary to get the cardboard box. |
FA Connecting Bridge Stun Grenade at Strut A side lower level. 1 soldier, 2 cyphers. If you can't manage to cross the bridge stealthily, it's okay to be discovered, just run pass, it's quick and easy. |

Shell 1 Core 1F D Mic and Chaff Grenade in the lockers. USP Bullet near the left side door. 2 soldiers, 2 cameras. Head to the room at the bottom of the area and get the D Mic. Use a book on the soldier in front of the room. |
Shell 1 Core B1 Stun Grenade in the right room. Chaff Grenade and Ration in the left room. 3 soldiers. If you need the ration, try to get it. If not, just head directly into the hall. |
Shell 1 Core B1 Hall M9 Bullet at bottom right. USP Bullet at bottom left. Ration under table. 1 soldier. You are looking for Jennifer. You are not in disguise, so you must not be seen. Jennifer is the only young woman in the room, look for where she is first then go directly to her. Receive Card2. Head for B2 to dis-arm the bomb there. |
Shell 1 Core B2 Computer Room Book in left side locker. Bandage in right side locker. 4 soldiers. Deal with the soldiers one by one, you can kill them, tranquilize them, hide them in lockers, anything you want. The bomb is under the computer in the center of the room. After you dis-arm the bomb, head for Strut E Heliport. |

2. Big Shell Evil |

Strut E 1F Parcel Room Box5 at top right. Ration Stun Grenade 3 soldiers. 1 of them makes radio contacts. Try to get to the DE Connecting Bridge un-noticed. If you must kill, at least leave the radio contact soldier alive. |

Strut C Dining Hall M9 Bullet in ladies room. Stun Grenade in mens room. USP Bullet in mens room. 1 soldier. In the food storage area you will find Emma. Lots of soldiers will appear, find an area convenient for battle. After killing a certain number of soldiers, the battle wil be over. |
BC Connecting Bridge Chaff Grenade is along the way. 1 soldier, 1 cypher. |
Strut B Transformer Room Ration inside locker. USP Bullet inside locker. USP Bullet near the Node. 2 soldiers after the event. After you access the Node, an event will start. Be careful of the soldiers that appear after the event. Head for Strut F. You can't pass through the Strut A route, so head back the way you came. |
Strut F 1F Warehouse Claymores and Grenade in top right room (1F). USP Bullets and Ration in top left room (1F). Stun Grenades in bottom right room (1F). M9 Bullet in bottom left room (1F). 1F middle left room is inaccessible. M4 and M4 Bullets in top room (B1). USP Suppressor in bottom right room (B1). 4 soldiers. Emma is in the 1F middle right room. |
Strut E After the event, unlimited enemy soldiers will appear. Take Emma and head for the DE Connecting Bridge. Use the M4 or Stun Grenade to advance. If you have a surplus of Rations, you can try just breaking through head on. |
Shell 1 - 2 Connecting Bridge Defeat the Harrier and this Snake Tale is cleared. |

Deck A Crew's Lounge AKS-74U inside the counter. Books at the left of room. AK Bullet in the left room. M4 Bullet 3 soldiers. |
Deck B Crew's Quarters M4 by the right side staircase. AK Bullet by the right side staircase. M4 Bullet near the left side staircase. 3 soldiers. 1 at the top, 1 at the right side, and 1 at the bottom. Head for the left side staircase to go upstairs to Deck C. |
Deck C Crew's Quarters Thermal Goggles at the deep end. 1 soldier, 3 cameras. You don't really need the Thermal Goggles, so just head upstairs if you want to save time. |
Deck D Crew's Quarters AK Bullet at top left corner of the area. M4 Bullet at bottom left corner of the area. Box1 inside the right room. 3 soldiers. 2 in the left room, 1 in the right room. The left room will be difficult to pass through un-harmed, so go through the right side where the bomb is. |
Deck E Bridge Ration inside the bridge. Meryl appears. Get the Ration and head for the Engine Room. |
Engine Room Pentazemin in the starting room. Night Vision Goggles in the starting room. PSG1 at the right side lower level. USP Bullet in front of the poster. PSG1-T near the left side lockers. 4 soldiers. 2 at the right side, 2 at the left side. In front of the door to Deck 2 are bomb traps. Use the USP to destroy the trigger devices, there are 3 in all. |
Deck 2 Port & Starboard USP Suppressor, AK Bullet, M4 Bullets, and M9 Bullet along the path. No soldiers. After picking up the ammo on the Starboard side, get ready for the battle with Gurlukovich Soldiers. After the battle, make your way back to Deck E Bridge where you met Meryl. |
Deck E Bridge & Navigational Deck Battle Meryl. The difficulty is about the same as Hard with Olga. Shoot her when she's moving from one spot to another and when she's about to throw a grenade. After you defeat Meryl this Snake Tale will be cleared. |

FA Connecting Bridge Bandage at the Strut A side lower level. 2 soldiers. If you run toward the other end without hesitation, the soldier will be facing away from you when you pass by. |
Strut A Pump Room Bandage in right side locker. Bandage in left side locker. Stun Grenade on top of right staircase. 2 soldiers. None of the items here are absolutely necessary, so if you think you can do without them, just head straight toward Strut B. |

KL Connecting Bridge M9 at the Strut K side. M4 Bullet at the entrance to the Core. USP Bullet at the entrance to the Core. 2 soldiers, 2 cyphers. If you don't plan to use the M9 in the upcoming Vamp battle, you don't need to get the M9 at the far end of the bridge, just head straight for the Core. |
Shell 2 Core 1F Air Purification Room USP Bullet, Nikita Bullet, M9 Bullet, Nikita, Stun Grenade, M4 Bullets, and Grenade along the way. No soldiers. After getting the Nikita, destroy the control device by shooting a nikita missile through the ducts. Use the duct opening at the South of the area, the one to the right. The nikita missile flies faster when you're not moving it, you need this speed-up to reach the control device. Enter the room to start the event. USP Bullet at the right end of the room. Stun Grenade in duct. After the event, ride the elevator and get ready for the battle with Vamp. Defeat Vamp and this Snake Tale is cleared. |

Engine Room Bomb disposal. Time Limit - 10:00 Bombs - 2 1) Right building, middle level, attached to the side of the walkway, visible from the staircase between the lower and middle level. 2) Left building, upper level, attached to the wall right in front of the door connecting to Deck 2. |

AB Connecting Bridge You'll need to take a photo of the Giant Gurlukovich Soldier. Equip the camera and face the ocean. Once the Giant Gurlukovich Soldier's upper body appears in view, frame it and shoot it. After you successfully take the photo, the story will continue. After the event, 4 soldiers will attack. There is a Ration at the Strut B side. Shoot a soldier then immediately roll toward him and knock him down and the soldier will disappear right away. After you defeat a certain number of soldiers the battle will be over. |
Giant Gurlukovich Soldier Battle Shoot the soldier with the Stinger or RGB6 and targets will appear. Shoot the targets with the PSG1 or M4 quickly, if you don't do it quickly the targets will disappear again. The soldier will release a sound wave which will immobilize you, then shoot out beams from his eyes which will take away approximately 1/4 of your full life bar. When immobilized, press L2 and R2 repeatedly to get out of it. To avoid being immobilized, right before the sound wave hits, roll and you won't be immobilized. There's a funny trick to beating him easily. In the middle of the room are 3 blocks. Hide behind them and you'll be seen and attacked. Out of the broken blocks will be some books. Take the book and place one on the floor and stand beside it. Once the giant Gurlukovich soldier sees the book, you will win the battle hilariously. |
VR Mission This is a trap set by Solidus, to enter VR switched into Raiden. Pause the game and select "Exit" and you will escape from VR and continue with the story. |
Battle Metal Gear Ray Just battle Metal Gear Ray like in the regular game. You will receive 2 Rations. |
Battle Solidus Snake will battle Solidus bare-handed. Solidus isn't as strong as in the regular game. You will receive 2 Rations. Before Solidus takes off his mechanical arms, punch-punch-kick in between his actions so he won't guard. After Solidus takes off his mechanical arms, the kick will usually miss, so just punch-punch when you attack him. When he does his fire dash, just roll out of the way when he turns toward you. If you are confident with your control, you can roll toward Solidus as he approaches you to knock him down. Defeat Solidus and all 5 Snake Tales are cleared. |
